Community Impact Fund
Community Impact Funds are designed to support student or student-organization-led efforts to positively impact our local and global community. Anyone who is a currently enrolled St. Olaf Student may submit a Community Impact Fund request. Groups awarded with the fund will work closely with the Community Impact Board to help achieve their goals and directly create community impact.
Impact Fund Rules and Regulations

The fund allows people to apply for up to $1,500 dollars in SGA monetary assistance and continued SGA support and assistance in the entire project! All money will be spent by SGA at the request of a recipient of a approved fund!
All fund requests must be requested from September 1st to April 30th of a academic year. All requests will be approved by the Community Impact Board and must recieve a 3/4 majority vote to approve! Requesters are highly encouraged to work with the Board to create the fund request.

Any monetary requests from a approved fund must be made and purchased during the academic year due to budget restrains by the college. If you have a project that you are considering that would need funding over the non academic year please reach out to see if we can create a plan to get funding before the end of the year.
Any approved fund will need to file a written report and reflection at the end of the project as well as providing multimedia (pictures/videos) of the project. The Community Impact Board reserves the right to post about any impact fund project

All request are asked to reflect on the Smith Center's Solidarity Module and the Reciprocity Module to think about risks and dimension on working in a community and properly engaging with local and global communities
Projects cannot violate any city ordinances or laws, state laws or federal laws of the United States or applicable country that the project is taking place. All projects must not infringe of human rights or the dignity of any human being
