A: We are here to satisfy both your late-night feast cravings and your study-despair snacking binges. As far as when the Pause as a whole is open, the truth is that it varies quite a bit depending on the events we host. Let’s just say we are open from mid-morning to bed time.

Q: I lost something in the Pause. How can I get it back?
A: Don’t worry, happens all the time. We often find items after events and we turn them into the Buntrock Front Desk, located just outside the Pause doors in Crossroads. Check there first, then your PO, then send a frantic email to stolaf-extra.
Q: How do I get a job in the Pause?

Q: How can I check out the SGA portable sound system?

Q: How can I reserve space in the Pause?
A: Our Operations Manager would be happy to help you through that process. You can either fill out the use of space form located here or email email@example.com. We require that events are booked at least two weeks in advance. Curse our popularity and high demand!
Q: What sort of events do you host?
A: We are the pizza and shake capital of St. Olaf. We host dances, concerts, banquets, game shows, comedians, film festivals, theatrical productions, lectures and many other events. We also play host to the campus band scene and have a large community of sports and TV show fans that gather on a regular basis.
Q: What does it mean to be student run?
A: Every Pause employee is a student. More than 100 students are employed by the Pause. We have our own security force, kitchen staff, technical staff, and an executive staff. The executive staff manages the kitchen, tech and security crews, as well as coordinates space reservations, keeps track of financials, represents the Pause on SGA Senate and plays other supporting roles in the administration of the Pause.
Q: Why are the online reservations or order forms not working?
A: Our Technology Officer would be happy to answer your questions and fix anything that is broken. You can email the Pause Co-Coordinators and they will get back to you as soon as possible. We want to make sure our site is the best it can be, so please let us know if it does not work.
