Last night senate heard from Jamie Cathcart, head of the Wellness Center and from Leslie Moore, head of the Piper center. Jamie came into to speak about new initiatives and events the Wellness Center is planning and got feedback for wellness-themed programming. Leslie spoke with us on and new programs added to the piper center including more Connections Trips, dinners with alumni focused on newer career fields, and drop-in hours with career coaches. Leslie said her main goal for the Piper Center at the moment is doing all they can to support International Students while at Olaf and when they become alumni. Senate passed the Proposal Proposal which decreases the number of signatures needed for students to submit a proposal to Senate. You now only need 25 student signatures or 2 senator signatures, making it much easier to get a topic or idea talked about and voted on.

If you’ve got something you’d like Senate to talk about, let us know!
