Any ideas on what you want to do with your major post-graduation? I am hoping to attend medical school after graduation, and dream of one day being pediatrician or family practice doctor.
What motivated you to run for 2016-17 SAC coordinator? I LOVE SAC. I joined SAC as a freshman, and it grew to be one of the most central aspects of my St. Olaf experience. It has allowed me to connect with people I might never otherwise have met, which has been a privilege. I want to be able to share this experience with the rest of the student body. St. Olaf is an incredible campus filled with incredible people: I want to create events where all students can have fun as a community.
What is your favorite part about being a part of SAC? The people. The rest of the committee is incredible, and I love hearing their ideas and opinions. Each person brings a new perspective and pushes me to be more creative and bold.
What are you most excited to bring to the table as next years SAC coordinator? My goal for SAC in the upcoming year is to bring a new level of organization and inclusivity. I want all students to have an event that they would enjoy, and I want information about these events to be very accessible and visible.
What is your favorite event that SAC has ever run? My favorite SAC event is King of the Hill. It is one of the SAC events with the largest turn out, and it is always so much fun. The contestants prove that Oles are creative, fun and unique, and the audience demonstrates the supportive nature of St. Olaf.
