SGA Exec possition
Student Activities Committee Coordinator

What have you been doing over the summer?
I have been working in the Performance Improvement area of the Alexandria Clinic. Chlamydia is on the rise in rural Minnesota, and I am on the committee that is trying to combat this issue in Alexandria. I am the person making sure that all girls are checked for the disease so… GET TESTED. At night I work as a waitress at a restaurant called Doolittles. The people are awesome, the experience is fun, and I get incredible food for half price. What else can you really ask for??

Why are you excited about your position & what do you hope to accomplish this year in that role?
I am so excited about being SAC coordinator because I have the ability to bring fun activities to campus. SAC creates fun events that allow Oles to make the memories they won’t want to forget. Whether it be something big like Pres Ball or Highlighter, or something small like Tulle Time Tuesday or Affirmations, the goal of SAC is to help Oles come together. This year, SAC would like to add more variety to the types of events that are offered. We want to make sure that ALL Oles have a fun and creative outlet.

What have you missed the most while being off the hill this summer?
I know that it’s cheesy, and that everyone says it, but I have honestly missed the people. Not just my best friends but Oles in general. It is an incredible experience to be on the hill with so many intelligent, passionate, and kind people, and I have missed it. I have also missed cold presses from the Cage, late night Pause pizza, my library spot, and Pause dances. St. Olaf is the best!
