Oles for Community Health (OCH) aims to promote health and wellness locally through fundraising and volunteer opportunities. OCH mainly consists of pre-med and pre-health students, but anyone interested in serving the community is more than welcome to join! OCH is a new organization this year so we are still looking for ways to get involved with the community. This past fall, we hosted a panel discussion lead by professionals involved in various facets of public health.

Currently, we are working with Healthfinders Collaborative, an organization that offers various programs and events to promote wellness throughout Rice County and offers clinical assistance to those who are uninsured.  OCH provides Healthfinders with volunteers and seeks to fundraise for them to help pay for clinical supplies. This Spring, we are excited about Healthfinders 140, a fundraiser lead by Michael Burgdorf as he tackles the 140 grueling miles of an Iron Man triathlon.
