The Ronald McDonald House Club is an organization on campus that partners with the Minneapolis Ronald McDonald House, located right next to the University of Minnesota Hospital. Families are able to stay at this house for little to no cost while their child is receiving long-term medical treatment. Families come from all over the world and stay various lengths of time.

Each semester the club travels up to the Ronald McDonald House to have one night of crafts and games with the kids. This provides an easy distraction from the reality of the sickness that they or their siblings are facing. In the spring, we pick one night to cook dinner for all the residents staying at the house at that time (which can be up to 52 families!).

We also helped with their “12 Days of Christmas” event. Each family received a different themed gift basket the 12 days in December leading up to Christmas. We made 52 Cooking-Themed baskets, complete with all the ingredients to make a batch of Rice Krispie Treats.

Other fundraisers that we host include: A Macaroni and Cheese delivery night for all students (look for this soon!), a Christmas gift drive, and Pause pizza delivery.
