Craft agendas for weekly meetings with the Hall Council. Attend weekly meetings with the Advisor. Attend and provide a voice for residents at weekly IHC meetings. Develop Hall Council team by facilitating icebreaker/team building activities at each meeting. Work on campus-wide policy and programming to ensure residents are provided an inclusive, welcoming environment with opportunities to engage in the community. Advocate for student inclusion and equity in the hall. Collaborate with Hall Staff on ways to create/program inclusivity. Meet regularly with other Inclusivity Advocates on campus and the Inclusivity Advocate Advisor (TBD) Attend Sustained Dialogue Moderator Training Create and distribute marketing of hall programming/initiatives within the hall. Direct social media posts Create in-hall advertisements (posters, door hangers, etc) Send recurring emails to hall constituents Provide opportunities for outreach and/or service to the larger campus and Northfield communities. Connecting with local non-profit organizations Connecting with other service and outreach student organizations Responsible for implementation of service event Issue minutes after each meeting to the Hall Council members. Submit Program Evaluations after each event to the Office of Residence Life Document Hall Council programs in the End of the Year Report. Following the completion of each event, the Recorder shall create a page in the End of the Year Report, which includes the following: Name of the event. Date of the event. Description of the event. Number of attendees. Detailed description of the planning process (i.e. indicating start and end dates of planning, any purchases made, etc.). Posters and pictures, if applicable. Explanation of any problems and advice for the future Hall Council. Maintain all financial records and oversee expenditures for the Hall Council. Submit financial records on Hall Council Budget Tracker Meet bi-monthly with the Advisor to complete budget audits. Work with the President for Hall Gift organization and collection Please fill out an application on the senator application page.
