2018-2019 Spring MEC Coordinator Application

Step 1 of 2

  • The Music Entertainment Committee (MEC) is for celebrating music and the people who create it, and is great for those who want to help bring artists to campus. It is imperative to not only be passionate about music, but also about the behind the scenes work: budgeting, marketing, event planning & facilitating, communicating with artists and fellow committee members, and attending the various music events MEC hosts throughout the year. The relationship between artists and audiences is an important one, and we as a committee value bringing them together. On our committee, we discuss what we can do to ensure our events are safe and welcoming, aiming to provide a memorable and fun experience to our fellow students and the artists we book. MEC meets at 11:10am on Thursdays, and attendance at these meetings is mandatory. If you have any further questions, please email the coordinator Lindsey Bertsch at
